Peri prosthetic fracture around total knee implant

 
When fracture occurs after knee joint replacement, especially if the bones are weak because of osteoporosis, the option of fixing the fracture, retaining old implant does not work out
 
One needs to use custom prosthesis replacing the broken bone to allow the patient early mobilisation
