FRACTURE OF HEAD & NECK RADIUS
The head of radius is a button shaped bone. The function of pronation and supination of forearm depends on integrity of radial head. If fractured in adult, with comminution of bone, excision is the best possible treatment. In literature there are reports of some centres, attempting open reduction and internal fixation, while some recommend excision with replacement with silastic prosthesis.
