TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT WITH
A
CETABULUM REINFORCEMENT RING FOR LATE PRESENTATION
At times, when the hip remains dislocated in central position and the fracture heals in bad position, reconstruction may require, reinforcement of the acetabulum with metal ring, which is fixed to the bone with screws. The plastic cup is then fixed inside this ring using bone cement and thus the socket of total hip is created. This is very complex surgery.
