T - shape fracture is transverse fracture associated with vertical fracture line breaking the obturator foramen.

It is to be differentiated from fracture of both the columns.

Surgery may either be carried out by anterior Ilio inguinal approach or Kochar Langanback approach. Some cases may require simultaneous anterior and posterior approaches.

In this patient the fracture was treated surgically by Posterior Kochar Langanback approach. The mode of fixation was interfragmentary screw and reconstruction plate used in neutralisation mode.
